The Fishing Cat is thought to attract fish by gently tapping the water to create small ripples as though an insect has just landed. The fishing Cat then scoops the fish from the water using its paws.

On Tuesday 8th May The Taronga Foundation hosted a special lecture on Gibbons and the situation facing these rare and endangered primates in Indonesia, as part of a lecture series held throughout Australia to raise funds and awareness for these amazing animals.
