Finance Committee (6)

Chairperson - Mr Richard Humphry AO. Monitors financial performance, including occupational health and safety, environment, human resource management and capital works programs.  Consists of selected Board Members.

Audit Committee (3)

Chairperson - Ms Gae Raby. Monitors and covers issues relating to internal control systems, risk management systems, financial reporting and other financial responsibilities.  Consists of selected Board Members.

Marketing Committee (6)

Chairperson - Mr Bill McLaughlin. Monitors all marketing activities including communications, sponsorship, Taronga Foundation, customer service and tourism development.  Consists of selected Board Members.

Wildlife Conservation, Health and Welfare Committee (6)

Chairperson - Dr Anthony English AM. Monitors collection management, wildlife conservation, research and veterinary services.  Consists of selected Board Members plus the following observers from appropriate specialist fields:

• Dr Chris Dickman - School of Biological Sciences, The University of Sydney
• Dr Richard Kingsford - Professor of Environmental Science, School of Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences, University of New South Wales
• Dr Mark Lawrie - President of the Australian Veterinary Association

Ethics Committee (6)

All research conducted on TCSA collection animals or by TCSA staff has undergone review and assessment by the TCSA Animal Ethics Committee (AEC).  This committee is constituted in accordance with the Animal Research Act 1985 and the Animal Research Regulation 2005, which incorporated the Australian Code of Practice for the Care and Use of Animals for Scientific Purposes into the legislation, and consists of the following representatives:
