VIP Aussie Gold Tour

An extremely popular, behind-the-scenes tour of Taronga Zoo's unique Australian animal collection, designed especially for the inquisitive traveller.

 Experience Includes

An exciting introduction to Australia's unusual wildlife, offering excellent photographic opportunities with kangaroos, wallabies, birds, wombats, echidnas and reptiles. 

  • Tours depart daily at 9.15am and 1.15pm from the Information Centre just inside the Main Entrance.
  • A small personalised group fully escorted by experienced guides.
  • Tour includes all day Zoo access.
  • Enjoy a round trip on the Sky Safari cable car and discover why Taronga is known as "The Zoo with a View".
  • Get up-close and personal with hand-raised native animals at Taronga's Education Centre.
  • Great photographic opportunities with a koala or another Aussie animal.
