Education

Taronga Zoo Education inspires people of all ages to make a personal contribution to conservation. Through formal education and community programs, we aim to engage and positively influence attitudes to wildlife, encouraging positive behaviour changes towards protecting the environment and wildlife.

Our Education team provide quality learning experiences and unique wildlife encounters for a wide range of people through curriculum based education programs and workshops, Indigenous education programs, sleep over and holiday programs, professional development opportunities and Outreach.

Zoo Adventures

Zoo Adventures is a thrilling educational holiday program which takes children on an amazing zoo adventure. Each day has a different theme which includes incredible behind the scenes experiences, hands-on animal encounters, art and craft and educational activities and games.
