Depending on the nature of your function we have four formats available:

• Roving Meet & Greet: Discovery Officers roam holding animals for guests and delegates to meet and touch.

• Animal Presentation: Presentations can be delivered on a range of topics or tailor-made for your audience.

• Animal Display: Animals are displayed under our marquee for visitors to meet at their leisure. Animals are taken out in turn to allow close encounters and touching where appropriate.

• Animal Display & Presentation: This package combines animal presentations with animal displays. This ensures visitors are able to meet the animals up-close and also ask individual questions following the presentation.

While we cannot guarantee animal availability for a specific day, we will try and accommodate special requests where possible. 

The Community Zoomobile brings a selection of native animals to each event from the following: Bearded Dragon, Shingleback Lizard, Blue Tongue Lizard, Green Tree Frog, Phasmid, Short-necked Turtle, Diamond Python, Carpet Python, Children's Python, Saltwater Crocodile, Ring-tail Possum, Long-nosed Bandicoot, Tortoise and Echidna.

Zoomobiles are available for bookings of between one and three hours. Please note, however, that in extreme weather conditions some animals may not be available.

We provide our own tables, marquee and animal exhibits. When planning the positioning of the Zoomobile, it is helpful to consider that we may be arriving after and leaving before other stalls. An ideal position for the Zoomobile is close to an access road and in the shade. Please reserve an area of approx 3m x 3m for the marquee and 5m x 4m directly behind this for the van.

The cost of a Zoomobile visit will depend on the booking length, size of the event and location. We recommend contacting our Zoomobile staff for full details on pricing and availability.

We prefer to have at least two weeks notice for all Zoomobile visits. However, for specific dates, we recommend booking as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.

Zoomobiles can attend functions outside of the Sydney region. Please note that events located outside of the Sydney Metropolitan area will incur additional costs.

Payment must be made prior to the event. Payment details are sent once a booking has been made. Speak to our staff regarding payment options

You can check the availability with the Community Zoomobile Coordinator. Complete and return the booking form, with your details and preferred dates, to our Community Zoomobile Coordinator. An event quote will then be prepared for you.
