YOU CAN JOIN TARONGA TEACHERS ASSOCIATION TODAY!

What do I get?         

Members will receive a variety of unique experiences and activities that focus on animals and the environment, including Free entry to both Taronga Zoo and Taronga Western Plains Zoo for 12 months Access to specific TTA events such as:

  • Key note lectures
  • Behind the scenes tours
  • Conferences
  • Early morning walks
  • Video Conferencing sessions

You will also receive Wild Life, a quarterly magazine that gives you all the latest news and updates on what’s happening at Taronga Zoo and Taronga Western Plains Zoo.

Why should you join?

All these exciting activities are designed and delivered to inspire teachers to become active advocates for wildlife and the environment.

As a member, teachers will have free entry to the Zoos but also participate in exciting tours, guest speakers including scientists and keepers and be part of amazing animal experiences. Taronga recognises that teachers are critically important to a child’s learning experience and if the world wants more eco-friendly students then our Zoos need to support the teachers in this challenge.

The vision of the Taronga is to “secure a shared future for wildlife and people” and the TTA will play a significant role in achieving this.

Membership

Membership to the Taronga Teachers Association is $55.00 per year, plus a one-off $10.00 joining fee.

Learning and Experience Internship – Certificate III in Tourism
