Time for Breakfast

Breakfast time at the Giraffe exhibit at Taronga Western Plains Zoo is busy with 10 Giraffes all vying for the best position at the food box when the horse pellets get poured in. The Giraffe are feed a mixture of hay, carrots, horse pellets and tree branches during the day.

Zoo-themed plane touches down in Dubbo

There was a different bird on the tarmac of the Dubbo airport over the weekend, when a QantasLink plane featuring images of Rhinos and Giraffes flew in on Saturday morning to celebrate the Zoo’s 35th birthday.
